Reading Faces |

Here is some fun information. Have a "read" through and see what you think. Is the information true? Does it fit with your experiences?People put on a “social mask”—which gradually slips off or can be seen through by sudden changes in facial movements then back again. A firm aggressive person tends to habitually jut out their chin. Conversely a person who habitually draws their chin back as a form of de-emphasis or passivity, shows a “Don’t count me” in attitude. Personality detection – can be seen in clues from facial, verbal, postural, and motor performance such as handwriting—they all tend to reflect the personality or basic character. Phony Smile – tends to look “frozen”. The person seems to smile with their mouth, but not their eyes. The right half of the face often appears more pleasant, sensitive, vulnerable, or open in expression. The left half of the face tends more often to reflect the hidden, severe, stern, or depressed aspects of the person underneath—a more sinister side of the person’s character. The left side of the person’s face also tends to register negative emotions. While the right side of the person’s face tends to reflect the more positive part of the personality. It has been suggested that the left side is the more “private” face, and the right side is the more “public” face. In split photograph studies where a picture is taken of the subject’s face and then split vertically and each side mirror imaged. The subjects later when looking at their “split faces” tend to prefer the left facial expression of themselves. The left side of the face is generally less expressive, than the right half. Subjects “wish images” (or deeper desires) are generally projected upon the left half of the face while the right part reflects more of their surface personality. In all of us, the right half of our brains controls the left half of our bodies; and the left half of our brain controls the right half of our bodies. Right side of the brain controls: intuition, creative imagination, and the ability to take in an overall impression. The right side seems to be more involved with symbolism and metaphor, which is called upon by the poetic part of us for creative imagery. The adult that still has a “baby face” is often considered bland, uninteresting, immature, or lacking in wisdom. The person who has lived an absorbing, creative and worthwhile life will more than likely have this fact stamped favorably on their face. Trait Check List
